A New Work
I'm so excited to share my latest artistic endeavor with you...
"Wishes of Grandeur"
30" x 40"
I've been working on this painting for what seems like forever, but I'm really proud of the end result. (Remember how long ago I was painting and repainting the earth, Linda?) I believe it's the first in a new series. I'm still working on a name for this series. I know what I want to say but I can't seem to get it out in a way that sweeps me off my feet. When I know, you'll know... I promise you that. I'd love to hear what you think of this piece. The little sign hanging down from the cloud says "wishes". Here are some other detail shots...
And I don't know what I was thinking, but the ebay auction I posted about below doesn't end until tonight. Sorry! If you're interested in "Acrylic Revolution", the link is here.

This piece is so fun and whimsical...I just LOVE it! What a fun painting!!

Oh Shari, this is so beautiful! I can see children smiling and peaceful, soft walking animals that instead of fear instill love for their kingdom in those children, and appreciation of their beauty and presence on the planet. Not a circus that abuses animals but one that invites them as spectators. What a dream!
I am not sure what all you want to say but I for one absolutely love the message in this piece. You go girl!
Love and much admiration from here,
Allegra

Shari- Looking at this makes me feeel like a kid!! My Grandma took me to the circus... I got in trouble the next couple days, though (stood on a footstool and threw my little brother to the couch to mimic shooting from a cannon PLUS swung over him with my swing but not completely OVER him.) Fun painting!

This looks great, Shari. I can tell you have been working on it a lot. I can't send outgoing email btw, in case you were wondering. I am hoping it is fixed soon, but who knows.

I like looking at it, it's really cute. It makes me smile. I guess the message I'm getting from this is it makes me Happy to look at it. I feel like you are saying something else and I don't know what it is yet, so for now I will be glad to just go with the "HAPPY" feeling it gives me.

Wow! This piece is just splendid! There is a magical quality in the animals and their colors against the negative space of human form. The tent is so warm and inviting. I just want to go in and see the show! xoxoxo
